The United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC) is actively seeking applications for the role of Associate Fellow,  Data Analyst. This exciting opportunity is based at UNSSC’s Knowledge Centre for Leadership and Management (KCLM) in Turin, Italy. The selected candidate will contribute to the development of  data analytics training programs that support the United Nations’ mission, including advancing the Secretary-General’s Data Strategy.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the UNSSC Learning Portfolio Manager, the Associate Fellow, Data Analyst will:
- Develop and deliver learning courses on data analytics.
- Facilitate webinars on data-related topics, including data cleaning, visualization, storytelling, predictive analysis, and Generative AI.
- Support UN staff in applying data analysis techniques to real-world challenges.
- Assist instructors, ensuring course alignment and successful implementation.
- Conduct research to provide relevant data examples and resources for training.
Qualifications and Competencies
Education:
- Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in computer science, data science, statistics, or a related field.
- A first-level degree with relevant experience may also be considered.
Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in applied analytics, business intelligence, or related areas.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI is required.
- Knowledge of programming languages (Python, R) is an asset.
Competencies:
- Professionalism in analyzing, organizing, and presenting data.
- Client orientation, creativity, teamwork, and technological awareness.
